Million Dollar Bill

A great family favourite is comedian Bill Bailey. Bill is known for his eclectic mix of great guitar and keyboard playing and an odd sense of humour that revolves around simply seeing the world from a viewpoint that his audience understands but rarely personally experiences.

That might sound a strange description, but when you hear phrases like "Satan's furry jam hat"(The mould on the top of jam), or "Thank God for Darwin" or a complete Emo spoof love song that talks about a duck "Drowning in the hoisin of your lies" you realise that Bailey sees life from a parallel universe.

It was a great night and apart from James getting an attack of the runs from eating some dodgy sushi, ran perfectly. The Gielgud theatre intimate enough to ensure that everyone felt close to the show, the sound and lighting just right and Bailey did what he's good at, showing us a parallel universe that we all know is there but we rarely experience.
