I bought some tickets for the Rich Hall comedy evening at the Reading Concert Hall. He was great....probably.

The Acoustics in the building were the worst I have ever had to suffer - he was inaudible for 95% of the time, and it was only when he stopped talking and looked out to the audience hoping for a laugh that we knew when a joke had been told - USELESS.

The Concert Hall has been there since 1882, surely, by now someone could have worked out that an reverb time of over 1.5 seconds makes anything other than string quartets inaudible.
Wake up Reading Town Council, it costs bugger all to put in acoustic deadening("Clouds") Do it or continue to be bemused as to why no-one goes in there.

It's just not fit for purpose.
